Exploring 3D Objects in Year 2
Dear Parents,
Over Week 6 we investigated 3D objects and their features. We have explored the number of faces, edges and corners that a cone, sphere, cylinder and cube have. We have participated in some fun activities, including a 3D object hunt around the school to identify 3D objects in our everyday world and constructing cubes out of marshmallows and toothpicks! On Thursday Year 2 participated in a range of games and activities relating to 3D objects, such as dominoes, bingo, snap and designing fairy tale castles using only cubes, cylinders, cones and spheres!
